Flex Day Offerings
All Fullerton College Faculty are required to participate in district-facilitated training. Faculty are to attend the first morning session, then, after the break, faculty can opt to follow one strand throughout the afternoon, or choose offerings from different strands.
Propose an Activity
In lieu of participating in the scheduled breakout sessions, departments can propose professional learning plans to fulfill the 3 flex hours beyond the 2-hour morning session, using the Flex Day Activity Proposal Form
The Staff Development Committee will review proposals and notify faculty organizers via email before the end of the semester that their proposals have been approved. Confirmation of proposals may be delayed if the Staff Development Committee requires clarification.

Faculty should submit the 2019/2020 Mandatory Flex Day Verification Form-Credit Faculty to their dean as a record of their participation in Flex Day activities.
Flex Day Program (Fall 2022)
This semester’s Flex Day keynote presentation was given by members of the Guided Pathways leadership team provided an overview of the key changes that have resulted from the first five years of the initiative at Fullerton College. They previewed the work ahead, emphasizing the ways in which the work of Pathways and Student Equity and Achievement will be braided to improve students outcomes, especially for our most disproportionately impacted populations. After a keynote presentation, faculty participated in breakout sessions facilitated by their division colleagues.
